A Child’s Life in Wellesley During the 1880s Activity Toolkit
Guided educational activity toolkits are now available to borrow via the Society!
The Society designed the toolkits to provide a glimpse into life as a child in Wellesley during the 1880s as well as to examine similarities and differences between life then and now. Activities utilize primary source materials from the Wellesley Historical Society Archives and secondary source materials. The toolkits are ideal for parties, after-school activities (such as Girl or Boy Scouts), or for families.
We have two identical toolkits available for borrowing on a two-week loan period. There is no fee to borrow the toolkit(s). Please note that we will charge fees for lost or damaged items as well as for unreturned toolkits. Kits are designed for children grades 3-5 with adult guidance. Activities are ideal for groups of 2-10 children per toolkit.
