The Wellesley Historical Society engages its members and the wider community to “Open the Door to History” through a diverse array of events and programs every year. These include an informative Speaker Series, and engaging Walking Tours of historic areas, a Craft Beer Oktoberfest, a lively Trivia Night, an annual Spring Gala, all designed to celebrate and explore our rich history.

Speaker Series
The Wellesley Historical Society has partnered with the Wellesley Free Library to conduct a free Speaker Series held at the Wellesley Free Library typically on a Sunday afternoon or Thursday evening. We generally schedule three speakers in the Fall and three speakers in the Spring. Topics include Wellesley, New England, national, and world history.
